First Pics of Harry in Costume
Tue, Oct 17, 2000 12:17 PM EDT

Special thanks to Victoria Kelly, a.k.a. Posh Jedi, for sending in this cool scan from the UK's Sun newspaper. In it you can see Harry, Hermione, and Ron (or at least the back of his head) talking with director Chris Columbus, and another unidentified crew member.  This is the first picture that we've seen of the principle cast of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone in costume.

You can make out the lightning bolt scar on Harry's forehead.  Victoria even went one step further and send us this cool blown up shot of the scar (below). Nifty!

Also, if you'll look carefully in the background you'll see Hedwig, or Ook the white owl that is playing Hedwig,  sitting quietly in her cage.

This picture was snapped at the Goathland railway station in North Yorkshire, which will serve as Hogsmeade Station in the film.  Let's hope this photographer didn't get beat up for taking picture like that other guy.
